I'm probably going to spend most of tomorrow trying to make some progress on the garden mini ramp, so might not get out tomorrow in the interest of future garden skating. The indoor park at Selby opened today, no bowl and looks a bit too much like a scooter playground, possibly not worth getting excited over. If something's happening Monday I might be up for it, depending on how tomorrow's DIY goes!

No Harm in trying I guess, but it does appear to be a scooter Chav magnet type of place, with mud added from bikes riding across it from the park bit, not very long ago I last paid it a visit (visually only) an old dear on an electric mobility scooter was selling & giving dope to the kids in bongs & the usual stuff whilst parked on one of the accessible platforms, classy eh  , so early doors with a brush do you reckon?

Not sure I'll make it. I ache from putting in 12 hours of mini ramp building yesterday, I've still quite a bit to do today to get to a point where I can test it out and I've got to tidy the house before my wife gets back from a weekend away, so a pretty busy day ahead of me. Going away for the week from tomorrow so won't be around next weekend. If it all works out I might have a mini ramp to skate, maybe the possibility of a session round mine one weekend when I get it done. Will only have one layer of ply on by the end of today, will need to put a bit more work in when I get back from my hols to get it finished.

Yeah so far, I've done a good job on the build I think. The levelling of the ground has been a bit of a botch, but I may or may not mess with that but it's pretty level, better than garforth that's for sure!

How was Morley?

Sounding very good.

Morley was distinctly average. The build quality of that place is shockingly bad. Poor surface, actually atrocious in places, lumpy transitions, cracks and holes in places. Overall it's a poor design.

Newsome is in Huddersfield, it's one place. I took some pictures there just after it opened but can't find them now. I never skated it. Found this other thread on it though...

EDIT: found the pics now. You can see why i didn't skate it.

What's the plan for tomorrow then?

Not sure, I might get up to Miccy between 9 and 10. Not too sure until I get up, my wife is not feeling too well, but if there's a chance to carve some corners I'll head there. If that fails I'll probably spend an hour or two trying to learn how to skate mini ramp in the garden. I'll see what you guys are doing and see if I can join in. I think my notifications for threads have messed up, as I've not been getting any recently.
