In the absence of any valid excuses, I'm taking the wife out this morning

Kind of why I need to know the night before along with diabetic shit

Okay, I'm still planning to be at Miccy this morning. Probably about 10 at this rate.

Bit of a change of plan, I'm going to check the indoor park at Selby sports centre out. No bowl as far as I can see, so don't know whether I'll have any of the fun I was hoping for, but at least I'll know what it's like.

Sorry guys, I've only just woken up. Unusual for me as I'm normally up and about around 6am. Looks like I'll have to do those domestic jobs I've been putting off after all.

Have a good skate Neil.

I'll save you trying the place at Selby, it's not worth the journey at all, for the same money The Works is a far better skate. No bowl, nothing to really carve, just an end to end street course.

Smooth, well built, dirty, a bit slippy, not something I can skate well. Kind of like the street course at Howe Bridge, but without the bowl.

I'll keep an eye on the plans for Sunday if you guys decide where to go I'll see if I can join in. One of my kids has been invited to a party at The Works tomorrow at 11, so I'm going to have a skate there while that happens rather than interacting with the other parents and wishing I was skating, so if anyone fancies a session there mid morning I'll be around.

Got an early airport run with my Mrs to Manchester for 6, might be able to make it back for Miccy session though, doubt I'll go skating over the other side of the Penines as I had thought I might as I'll have all the kids with me and one who really hates hanging round skateparks now!

Family holiday, though wheely planks will be involved. Have trucks and wheels in my bag for me and Kitty, we're going to get new decks out there and find as many places to skate as we can on the way between Sydney and Brisbane.

Haven't been on here in a while, though have been getting a few sessions in at The Works early on Saturdays recently. Haven't had the chance for a skate for a couple of weeks now and considering going to The Works this afternoon, maybe a 4 or 5pm start, it's likely to be packed with scooters, but you never know?! Anyone else fancy a session this aft?

It's up to £7 for 2 hours now, but last time I went the guy charged us £6 each.

Don't think I'll make the Mags session, it's my son's birthday on Monday so we're going out for a meal after skating, so I'll be unlikely to move after a good feed!

Maybe, not sure if it'll be Saturday or Sunday yet. The Works was pretty busy last Saturday apart from the pool.

I realise I'll probably only end up at The Works, but would maybe like to head over to Rockcity if I can get the extended pass out.

Looking like Rockcity is a realistic option tomorrow. One of the kids is sick, so he needs to get a bit better to either come along or go with the Mrs on her expedition. I might have to flake, but it's a theoretical possibility.
