SAVE SOUTHBANK - The time is NOW!

Hello Middle Age Shred,

I've been meaning to join for a while, but was never quite sure if I was old or old school enough.. Recently after hearing about the Southbank Centre's new planning application, I've been trying to do what I can to give the Undercroft a fighting chance of being saved. So here I am.. but anyway, I'm 33 and been skating since '89 so hopefully joining is legit!

I'm sure you all know the score, the Southbank Centre plans to destroy the skateboarding undercroft area to make way for retail space. Last week the Southbank Centre just submitted a 2nd planning application (it wasn't expected until early next year), and now skateboarders, local residents, and lovers of the space racing to get planning objection forms in before the 18th Dec deadline.

If everyone could please take 2 minutes to do an objection form (as a new user I can't post the link properly, so just take out the spaces and change the 'dot kom' to you know what) it will help our cause to save it massively.

Send this link to friends, family, work colleagues, uncle Raymond, facebook, twitter, get it out there!

This short doc has been posted here before, but just in case anyone hasn't seen it, it explains the fight and reasons to save the under-croft really well. Just search Long Live South Bank The bigger picture.

Cheers everyone, hopefully speak to you soon on here and see you around,

Greg
