Re: Warrington Skatepark.

i found that is sooo hard to maintain a lick of speed around this place ,there is waaay too much flat & not enough pump bumps & the transitions ain't that big...

Still never been even though it's fairly close to home.
Heard you need to pick your times as it's usually crammed with not very accomodating BMXicans and chavs.

Re: Warrington Skatepark.

Warrington was one of the first of the new generation of parks and to be honest its not that good now when you compare it with more recent offerings speed is very hard to find and you need to be able to really pump and carve to get a good line.
Clitheroe is way better as is Wakey or Stoke.

Re: Warrington Skatepark.

hmm, funny one warrington there are lines to be found but you gotta be able to carve to keep any kind of momentum. allegedly sam has a few good uns

like our haggis eating friend says you gotta be careful with your times. early doors are best and in the past we,ve been there at 7.30am

Re: Warrington Skatepark.

I read somewhere that Warrington was/is the biggest and best skatepark in the country. Big, it may be, but it ain't the best. It may be good for BMX'ers, and that's probably why the place is flooded with them.

It ain't really worth going as you've got Runcorn round the corner which is much better for skateboarding!
