Gran Canaria Skateparks
Found four skateparks in Gran Canaria and went to visit them on my hols.
Maspalomas
Bowled out 7' half pipe connected to a smaller 3 1/2' section leads out to an area with flat banks and quarters. There's also some rails, ledges, stairs and fun box. The parks getting a bit crumbly and the surface isn't too smooth, still skateable though.

Telde
This parks in the middle of a landscaped garden and sports area in the little town of Telde. There's a half pipe with 5' and 7' sections. The transitions pretty mellow and it would be great if it wasn't for the annoying bump you get as you cross the join from the transition to flat. There's a bowl in the middle of the park, but it's pretty much unskateable. The concretes all crumbling. There's other bits an pieces round the park but they all seem to have been built in that not quite right way; tooo steep or too mellow or too low or too high.

Jinimar
This park is just weird! There's a 6' quarter pipe that runs the full length of one side of the park and opposite it in the middle is a 12' wide quarter and either side of that are two sort of transitioned bank things.

Las Palmas
Right in the middle of a busy part of the city. There's a really tight mini ramp, flat banks, super tight quarters, hubbas and a little hipped bank. The place is crumbling. The graffiti's impressive.

Here's a vid of me rolling around the parks.

That's seven-ply-- seven layers of a thin veneer...
that are bonded together, cross-grain...
to form a board that's practically indestructible.
