Any decent places to skate near minehead ?

I am going to be in the Minehead area shortly and wondered if you could suggest any decent parks to skate ?
The only ones i have found so far are the minehead eye and an outside park near taunton...
Anybody know of any other gems ?
My lush globe slide deck needs some action !!!
Many thanks in advance...

Taunton's park is actually pretty nice. Fun to be had.

Barnstaple also has a park that is well worth a look. Hard to choose between them really.

Nothing that I know of much nearer to Minehead unfortunately:

Actually a quick look on http://www.sk8loc8.com (always impressive Baldy. 8)) shows an indoor park.
Not my cup of tea but might be fun if it does rain?

Re: Any decent places to skate near minehead ?

Checked out Taunton last week, had a good roll around on my Lush globe slide deck and my Mini logo deck.

Bowl was a bit dodgy as it had about 1" of water in various places but still had a go at it, my 7 year old loved it !

Snake run was very "cheek clenching" as dust from the adjacent allotments was all over the place making it a bit slippy...even my normally grippy Kryptonics were sliding around.
Good fun though.

Didn't bother with the Minehead eye indoor park.
