Padstow, Cornwall

Postby Trevenen » Sun Sep 11, 2011 3:01 pm

Just plans randomly thrown up by someone in the area on Facebook but my guess is Maverick, judging by the banked landscaped bits. Looks nice!
edit - hmm although the render doesn't look like their usual ones...
edit2 did a bit of digging and all the 'example' parks on their facebook page are from Wheelscape so it may be them.
More news if and when I get a reply. 8)

Not sure if the bit leading to the bowl bottom left is a mini mega ramp type jump?

Find padstow skatepark on Facebook. I think they are on the last bit of fundraising.

If this one ever gets built, it will be a 2 minute walk from my house :D

And a five minute walk from there to 5 pubs on the quayside down town...

I understand that they have run into problems with planning tho - its been stalled for ages. They put up a fairly shit mini (cos its so narrow) which has been resurfaced several times but that's it. I've been thinking about attending the next town council meeting to find out what the craic is - but im probably away in london. Pretty sure the locals have raised all the cash, its just a planning glitch (that's North Cornwall in a nutshell.)
