New park in the pipe line for Millom Cumbria

Postby Woody » Wed Apr 24, 2013 6:19 pm

What I am told is the final set of plans for a new park in Cumbria at a little place called Millom
Few bits I would never have put where they are but than again I'm not a skatepark designer :-)

A bit quirky in places but not too bad overall. Nice to see a utilitarian mini with extensions. That roll over into the bowl looks a bit wicked.

And where the chuff is Millom?

hope the drainage is good quite possibly the wettest place in the UK, hope it goes through another one in striking distance to me.. then again not heard much from Huyton since that went up, had a quick look on youtube yesterday and nothing much on there either. In the process of getting a more eco car so can afford the fuel to get Woodys / Preston and maybe Huyton on a weekly basis..

Have to get some of you lot up to visit, that looks like it might actually be worth the trip.

Think I'll be taking a trip up there. Wild Animal Park and skating all in one day sounds good to me : )
