Stevenage petition for an indoor park

Just seen this via the local rag.

Obviously I'd love an indoor park where I live but do have some questions (beyond if it would get built anyway).

All the talk is about kids, given the current park is linked to a youth club this worries me that it won't be open for old fogies. Which would be a shame as I'm sure an undercover vert ramp would go down well with some.

It certainly is the Harrow half pipe, quite an odd picture to put up there unless they just want to build a big indoor one of those!

I thought it might be, I haven't been there for years though, does the Bowes Lyon skatepark still exist in Stevenage then, a lot of years since I went there for a skate or an ESA meeting?

Argh you are of course correct, there are some good photos on Google of the Stevenage one but my new phone is terrible and won't let me copy a url.

Skate park is still there.
