Crikey! I missed this one. This is isn't far from where I live. I had heard of another project in Warrington a few months back of someone applying to build an indoor park but that was a different company and in a different place. This looks great. It's on the Liverpool side of Warrington. I will check it out.

Built by Four one Four skateparks. They did Corby and Redcar? Any good? They do seem BMX lead. Facebook says there is a bowl and it is goona be big. Notice some kids asking for more street instead of bowls and ramps.
Just noticed the Blackburn thread and seems to be a bit of sceptism about the designers. Hope that's not the same here?

Just noticed it seems they did Beast Rampz

Thanks Woody - I was about to ask about pics as I left Facebook a year ago.

Realising I need it at the moment!! North staffs sorely needs an indoor park.

It does look good. Hope they have skateboard only days, or open at school time or even arrange MAS jams cos that bowl is just gonna be full of scooters riding in one side and hopping out the other while a skateboarder is in mid flow! Like at Vicky park.

Thanks for that, they do look like a very bike orientated company, so I hope they don't make the mistakes of other parks built with bikes formost in mind

Update on this so far

http://www.ramp1.co.uk/

Seems you have to register for membership before you can go in. You have to put your date of birth..yikes! :(

If you register before 14th Feb you could win an invite to the opening party on 15th March, and bring a friend with you :) I wonder if they would let old gets in to the party?

This place opens in less than two weeks, opening times and session prices are up on the website:

http://www.ramp1.co.uk/

Not looking good for skateboard only nights or times for private sessions. Will be opening on weekdays at 12pm so some slots for those who aren't at work during school times. Guess in the evenings and weekends it will be rammed with kids on scooters and bikes but thats who they are making these places for.
My daughter has won an invite to the private opening evening and is taking me as her guest :)

As it's open from 16th march for 12 noon, how about a daytime mini meet session, would love to go ASAP before I'm off on my Jollies on the 25th?

 Do kids actually do that, even at indoor parks? I noticed that when a new kid with no sense of etiquette pull a stunt like that, usually get told by other kids (no matter if scooters, bmxers, anybody...) sparing the grown ups from having to be the big bad wolf... Most of the times...

Some of the more serious scooter kids have good skatepark etiquette, but at my local outdoor they are a nghtmare!

I did suggest doing the Friday club there on 21st, Brian. However I can't make that Friday now because of work. Some others will probably be going that week though. It does say it opens at 12pm in the week so it should be free of skoolies. Hope that 12pm opening lasts and doesn't go the way of Beast Rampz.
