Really in two minds about this, I was expecting it to be terrible when first announced but the pictures look cool.

We should have a spring skate in the smoke at some point ... Imagine even on a weekday it'll be rammed to unskateable.
Please ignore the above post, I have nothing of merit to say.

I went to the Selfridges/HTC skatepark today,
Not my sort of thing - I stayed 10 mins and left for Bay66
GOOD FOR: street skaters. Lots of obstacles based on classic London skate spots.
BAD FOR: transition skaters. There is a transition area, but it's transition designed for street skating. Quarter pipes and a bowled corner, but they're all mismatched and there are no uninterrupted lines between them. You'll find a 3ft quarter on one side, an 8ft quarter on the other, and between them a flat bank, a grind box and a handrail. There's one part where a mini quarter faces a bowled corner but there's a big wooden lipstick thing sticking up from the coping of the mini side, which rules out grinds, 5050s and most lip-tricks.
