Interesting. Not too far to travel to that one. Not far from Ramp1, is there enough business for all these places? Not moaning like, more places to skate in the winter.

Pencilled in for a 7th November opening. They look well underway with the build so that sounds pretty realistic. Open till 10 pm Monday to Friday ... 6pm weekends. Another pic ...

Any idea of how early it opens Ian? The leisure centre opens at 6.30am but I wonder what time they will open the skatepark. Hopefully in the morning for a winter venue for north west Friday club.

I seriously need to learn how to ride a bowl !

I spent a few hours at Junction4 (Darwen) on sunday with the youngest. Again a council run gaff, well maintained and clean and the bowl is real nice the rest of it not so. I found the rest of the trannys to high and too close together. This Wigan one looks a little more spread out

Almost 5 foot. Seems to be a standard depth for a lot of these indoor parks.

Its built in a high school sports Gym. Its the cleanest indoor park I have skated and the bowl is cool and seems ideal for learning in. The rest of the park seems to be more suited to BMX / Scooters.

unless im highly mistaken ... there appears to be some vert in the bowl :shock:

ive highlighted it in red (excuse my crude attempts at )

the rest of the transitions look super melow... this bowl could be really good or total crap .... itching to get in there :lol:
