Bought a new board (sacred to death)

So i got myself a new skateboard, its a real complete. its 7.5x31.5 pretty cool board.

I got on it and rode around a bit, pretty terrifying experience not being on a board in 10 years...

I landed a olie while rolling slowly on the driveway but was to scared to go crazy with it, i know falling is part of skating but its been a long time for me.

Going to just take it slowly for a while until i get comfortable again.

Re: Bought a new board (sacred to death)

Ah, all this new-fangled ollie stuff... I've not been on a board for about 32 years, and I was never up to anything back then either! All I can suggest is get some pads and a helmet then as you say, take things at your own pace. It helps if you can hook up with some other skaters, perhaps go for a session at a local skatepark etc. etc.
