Bloody stupid adventure runs

Postby Turbohobbit » Mon Sep 12, 2016 10:53 pm

I sprained my ankle on the FIRST OBSTACLE of a stupid Tough Mudder style adventure run last Saturday and now I can't skate. I bought some new wheels to cheer myself up but now all I want to do is try them out.

Seriously. The first bloody obstacle.

A hay bail.

Honestly. Yeesh.

That sucks, hope you get well soon.

In the meantime you could change your name to Turbohobble ;-)

Yeah, I'm not going back anywhere near one of them for a while. I've always had bandy ankles and frankly speaking I was asking for trouble just attending. I asked, and trouble replied.

HA! Sadly not. I pressed on for another 3km before jacking it in (and turning my ankle a second time walking back to the car). I ended up looking like I'd been dunked in liquid clay from the chest down.

My dad would say 'you're not getting in my car like that!'
