the fibreglass thing. the half pipe with the big flat bottom had sweet transitions, and about a foot of vert... mint
me and Steff met up with Rodger [i think at Alpine], we went for a McD's [there where non in the north then, lol] and stayed with him. he showed us round and skated around a few parks.

rad days... L-Pool BoyZ on tour (AW)

There's lot's I don't know.
I was a regular at both Fleet skateparks that's why I asked.

I do know how to spell Guildford though.
Can't remember who ran the shop though.

Dave Davies ?

Thats a good pedigree you got there.
Good to hear from you.
I went to some demo or other in the dark ages, in Sefton park?
They laid out skateboard "tracks" all over the park, but they were like the
rubber stuff you get in kids play areas. Total shite, and it was wet. :)
Had a big top tent for the freestyle demos, Stef doing 360`s, it was like watching Stacy Peralta.

Lee's pipe in lincoln.

Was that Lee Bryans ?
was it called the rat house or something ?
Went to a comp there, Neil DanZ skated , and Dave Davies. First time I met Davie Philips and Mike Cook from Huddersfield.
That comp probably had everyone who still skated the UK show up.

Always liked Neil Danz. Met him a couple of years ago at Rampy and he was a really nice, friendly bloke. 8)

colne was a blast. i took up a single bed mattress and left it there for me to use at weekends. what a laff, local birds and booze... it used to take us ages toget there, and sometimes the owner would come and collect us all in his tranny van. me, steff, danz, davus, trev... wow, buzzin just remembering 8) ste gratton was shit hot... ~..
you remember the owner, he used to wear wooden clogs, ffs!!!

also did the wolves skate park, not sure of the name. the one in the multi storey mill [or factory], all wood, tight pipes... lip bombs were soooooo fast on it ..-

never went to the Rat House but have a write-up of a contest there in Graeme Stanners' 'Hullabaloo' zine (which only had one issue, i think). Also features a comical account of the trip from Livi to Horncastle and the lack of haggis at the chip shop.
