My first Longboard

Postby Lofat » Thu Aug 12, 2010 9:06 pm

Just got a nice longboard deck made by Nipples on here, cheers mate.
Put some Randal R2 180, 50 degree trucks + used some cheap 70mm kryps to start me of.
Gripped it with inspiration from one of the posts on silverfishlongboarding
Took it for it`s first roll this evening it was 8)

Thanks Leanne, took a lot of faffing around in photoshop to print out the stencil then several hours last night cutting it out with a pair of scissors and then getting the right spacing, looking forward to getting it on some hill and a carve around Crawley bowl ..-

You missed the MAS rule of taking the photo with a background that provides endless possibilities of taking the piss.

Nice board though, I do like the grip tape pattern.
Is this where I am supposed to write something witty?

Ha-Ha, no I chose the background to avoid that, even photoshop some more rug in
Will bring it up to Crawley next time for a laugh, I might even be able to fronside carve on it without the disco arm
