Thanks Des, twas indeed a great day, albeit after spending 2 hours in a jam on the M25. My foot hurts like f**ck from the snakerun. Rom puts modern skateparks to shame really (Harrow too almost), there is so much to do in comparison to a 'modern flow' park. If only they would build one like Rom again.

Thanks for the pic, its a keeper, if I had balls that would make some shot frontside but f*ck that :shock:

...or even Thursday next week?? Dion who is more local than the paint in the pool uses Spitfire Classic 80a's. It aint a hard wheel spot that's for sure. It is bonza for longboarding and other forms of bowl tom-foollery. As I say, I wish modern flow parks had moguls and snakes and mahooosive performance bowls and swimming pools. It makes them seem quite mundane by comparison.

yea, some modern parks could be a lot more challenging and radically different in places.

thats what i like about saffron walden - the deep bowl is just an odd, but interesting shape. Keeps you busy just thinking about how to attack it.
