Snakebite, the wheels are 80s Slammers (some of that NOS gear).

The board's wide, the trucks are wide, the wheels are wide & the skater's wide! :D

Re: My board.

My new board :D
Mini Logo 181 8.5 x 33 1/2, 149 Indys, Bones Bowlriders 60mm pf, Bones Labyrinth bearings, rails and shox spacers........
It's the dogs spherical bits................. Unfortunately I am not :D

Really chuffed with it - slightly wider deck than previous and hence slightly wider trucks. Turns better for carving but will have to get used to the wobble before dropping in with any gusto

Image

It's aaaaaaaaaaaace.

Bu66er - can't post green wheels are faster blurb any more.

Re: My board.

I did hear a rumour that the distance of the rails to the edge of the board has a huge effect on streamlining and therefore greatly affects your speed

Re: My board.

Hmmmmmmm.
May have to try putting the rails closer to the edges for that extra bit of streamlining

Fortunately green decka are more streamlined and grippier

Re: My board.

The real issue was your choice of biscuit, it really should have been Chocolate Hobnobs.

Though I gotta say, tea and biscuits with board building..... I like it :D

Re: My board.

Fig rolls are the choice of champions - bite size package with heaps of energy and fibre, help keep your energy levels up when missing brekkie rushing to that early morning session. :)
Bonus is that the fibre means you make your presence felt by the family in the evenings. :?

Gotta have coffee with the biccies.

I used to take fig rolls on bike rides, better and cheaper than all those silly energy bars!
