A fresh one for my birthday the other week. Real Ishod Wair 8.25 full, Ace 44s, some old Mini Logos I had with some Bones Race Reds in them. Unfortunately my body temporarily stopped working two days after I ordered it, so haven´t tried it yet. ~..

Nice looking deck, Corey.
Are the aces new too?
Are the nose and tail steep on the real? My current ride is too flat.

Yeah, the Aces are new too. Was originally planning to put my old Thunders on it, but got a bit of a discount and couldn´t resist..

I´d say the deck looks fairly steep, but the concave isn´t too crazy. Haven´t gotten to try it yet, so can´t give a proper review.

I bought a belt sander cleaner and a rubbing brick in the hardware shop today.

I may have found a new manny/ledge spot but if it works it will need a rub brick and some clear coat.
And for the first time ever, i want to clean my griptape. I usually have dirty griptape and don't care, but for some reason, dirty griptape is bothering me at the moment.

Another 10 inch egg. Cracking.

Here's the current one - https://www.instagram.com/p/BsLLpMpFYPZ/

Big and heavy, difficult to heelflip, but easy to kickflip (go figure) and loads of fun to roll around on. Not always easy to get hold of I believe, hence the spare (I'm a mug).

Skateboarding outside destroys decks quicker (well failing to land tricks outside does...  ) - just ordered 2 Chocolate ones. they were 29 quid each as they are not very pretty but that's messed up after 1 sesh so who cares really...

I’m a fan of Formula Fours. In damp weather they don’t seem to pick up crud like other wheels, and they seem less likely to slide out unexpectedly

Also really good in the indoor parks for not collecting all the dust / wax / crud unlike the powerflex wheels.

I'm not in the market for a set of wheels at the moment, but these look like they could be perfect for when I am.

That Vallelyphant is ace Jeroen. I had a pink one in the good ol' days and would happily have another to play with.

Might have a photo of it on my laptop somewhere.

Tensor mag lows - can’t argue with the quality of the tensors they are very well put together. Some bigger named brands let them selves down sometimes with poor pivot cups with giant air pockets from the mould or the axles not being centred in the hangers.

He probably doesn’t get any royalties from the board sales now, in prison, so if you refuse to buy a reissue of the board you used to love back in the day, you’re not really achieving much. It’s a nice looking board - I used to have one, years ago. I don’t really ride old school boards now, but if I did I’d probably get one too.

The board doesn't represent the crime. I suspect it represents nostalgia for those wanting to skate it and is more reminiscent of the man as a skater, not the individual whom it appears is/was unwell. Not presenting an 'in defence of' and I do not know him personally but, from what information I have come across there appears to be certain contributing factors which may have led to his behaviour. I would never condone murder & rape, however, it can be all to easy for the general consensus to ignore the whole picture, in favour of their own views or as a reflection of how they are affected by the information.
I am being overly cautious with what I write here, comments online can often be misinterpreted. Also, trying to remember this is a skate forum and not a psychosocial platform.

Going to try out the orbs plasmathane formula!? Not my first set of orbs but, as I am more confident on harder wheels nowadays I 'should' be able to build a better opinion (for what it is worth). Also, going to try my first pair of Theeves.

Can I ask where you keep all your boards Jeroen? You seem to buy a lot of classics and I was just wondering if you have them on display somewhere - on the stands you design, or hanging all over the house - or are they kept in a special place (e.g. the garage) for you to go and ogle whenever you fancy a fix?

Anyway, you must have a hell of a collection now!

My latest board is by no means a classic, but it does have a classic shape. Love these Polar Dane1s - they're quite wide at 9.75, but really lively (short wheelbase - 14) and good pop. Can't say I'm 100% convinced on the wood quality though. I've had a few and either snapped or badly cracked all of them, and I ain't no Frankie Hill.

a bit ashamed to say most of em are in boxes...
I have 11 hanging in our little coffee shop (as in coffee, not weed  ) but with all the other stuff, I don't have enuf wallspace to hang more
now looking into hanging them from the ceiling, but just undecided on how to mount em there... will figure something out soon
think I'm closing in on 40 boards total now

Hey Kamaki! I made the stickers for fun, it's my hummus company in Italy, I give stickers out to the homies at the park, should do a reprint but the t-shirt is available online and the caps and sweaters too

I don't wish to sound pedantic but I will anyway. ;-) To be grammatically correct, shouldn't it say either:

Love hummus, it's not a crime

Or

Loving hummus is not a crime

I'll get mi coat... And while I'm out I'll get some hummus; I really fancy some now. :-)

speaking of Speedlab wheels, I have just started using these:

and they're working well for me on concrete and wood (58mm, 101a)

not so long ago I picked up a 2nd hand Alva deck, bought some cheap wide trucks (X-Caliber 187mm wide) and put on my 60mm green core white kryps:

It's massive, and massive fun, and it makes you massively warm at a cold skatepark

recent additions to the collection...

Image

Was stoked with the Neptune at first, but upon close inspection, I think it's a fake...
couldn't find any swastikas on it anywhere

Image

Final issue of TWS mag... Cool cover and that's about it. Browsing the mag, I'm not surpised they closed shop

Not seen Transworld since I restated around 5/6 years ago, I actually though it had ceased anyway. has it turned into just a street-skate mag with a zillion Advents, like others did?
