Enjoying the early 90's thread, so thought I'd start one for the era when I really got into skating. Bonus points for any footage where fire hydrants are used as obstacles!
Now knows better.
Re: Late 80's appreciation thread
Loved Hokus Pokus, used to watch a copy I borrowed from a friend over and over. I would have been very late '89 when I bought my first 'pro' board though after 2 fibreglass 70's style boards...a 2nd hand Liberty Mike Smith from Neil's shop in the Quiggins. Pacer wheels and market board trucks
Will kickflip for cash

No fire hydrants, but still awsome ...
Natas vids still give me the skate horn today.
An amazing skater, speed, power, style, and by all accounts a very humble bloke too, and was he ever NOT smiling!
Kind of a polar opposite of all the meat head jocks on skateboards rolling around at walking speed, doing inch high flip tricks in a C-3Po style in the 90's

Can't find the rules, are we allowed non-skate links?

Some great footage there. The tricks aren't always that technically difficult, but they're done with great style. Could watch Natas and Ray Barbee skate all day.
Were there any UK scene videos from this time? Spirit of the Blitz was the first I saw, but that was a bit later I think.
