The Graystone Academy Salford is now open as of this weekend, a couple of us are going over on Tuesday during the day if anyone fancies a roll out with us?

Ian, it is just at the end of the M602 heading towards Manchester. Take the left exit at the M602 roundabout, then right at the first lights on to Liverpool Road then first left.
You should come and check it out, even if you don't want to skate there is a bar and cafe where you can get a beer or a bite to eat. A lot of your old skate chums are going to be there :D

Many injuries at this session. I rolled my ankle and ended up with a bad sprain only ten minutes into the sesh. Another guy fractured his foot and a few others had knee injuries!

Nice skating guys. Fen - hope the ankle is on the mend!

I like the look of that little mini 'street' section...

Yep there is plenty there for you to skate Undertime. I know we mainly hang round the bowl. Give it a visit next time you are over here. Pre-book your session though on the website.

Made it across earlier this week. The mini is perfectly decent but not worth travelling for; i'm sure the street section is fun for those that like that kind of thing and can skate it (lots of weird angles around the place - confused me); the bowl is lots of fun and I hope it gets kept clean with the amount of bike traffic - felt a little bit slippery.

Also nice to get a draught beer at the end of the session without leaving the building (I wasn't driving); friendly staff and locals, didn't feel crowded.

I was a bit disappointed by the painted surface on the street section, it covers wheels almost immediately. Other than that nice place, interesting (a bit funky in places) layout and nice people running the joint. Aiming to go back soonish.
Don't call it a comeback...
