Epic I think is an under statement.

It's effing awesome, the dogs gonads, the cream on top of your strawberries, yada, yada, yada................

It's like being a kid standing in your first ever sweet shop, not sure where to start or what to go for first.

Enjoy.....I did :D

Was great last night. I loved riding that bowl. Can't believe this is only phase 1! Didn't get chance to run the LA street bit cos all the little kids were on there, but at 12 midday on school days it should be better. The beginners area is fun, not forgetting that little micro mini. Going again tonight :)
Hope those midweek daytime openings keep going.

Yep me to. Only open till 9pm during the week so will not be able to go after work.

Might try and go sat evening.

As I am middle aged and worry about these things, can you get parked and what reg form do you have to fill in before hand. Is that for the £2 membership band. Do you then just have to print it off.

Plenty of parking space.
Register on line. When you go you give them your name then pay 2 quid for your membership card. Then pay for your session. They are aware of all the middle aged shredders now, some of them built the place.
If you are going on a Saturday post up and let us know.

No skate only nights but plenty of room. BMXers mainly use the big run in the middle.

Ben Grove was skating there last night

Bit pricey to be honest, compared to Ramp City. £6.50 for 2 and a half hours in the week and £8.50 at weekend!. Day pass is £12 in the week and 15 quid at weekend.

I do like the big bowl, but sometimes I wish they would build a smaller pool type bowl with coping at these new places.

That'll be why there was no Yorkshire folk there today then
It is a totally huge park, plenty of space for everyone, only really skated the bowl so can't comment on the rest. Street section is predominantly concrete too. Many diff types of mini/spine ramps.
I will hopefully going back Friday with the "Friday" club if they are out?
Parking seemed very limited to me, maybe some of the other units on the business park don't mind skater types parking in there "spots"
Café looks good, altho I didn't buy owt, they also have a full arcade area, with bowling alley, pinball machines and BAR dunno wot the opening times for the bar are tho, wasn't open while I was there :?

Nearly six years ago when this place opened and we were all exited about the huge bowl. Skated it regularly since with many people. But now they are closing the bowl and replacing it with some kind of soft play area, although we are not entirely sure of that. Bye bye Ramp1 bowl its been fun :(

Just didn't like the way they kept quiet about it for ages, I suspected it wasn't going to be a good outcome otherwise they would have been shouting about how they were improving the place, obviously it's not an improvement, just kiddifying the place more for the party swarms of unsupervised madness, trampolines next I suspect

Just another park that no longer warrants any distance travel !

I went a week or so ago. Bowl and mini part gone. Small street section now has a mini bolted onto the back of it now, I assume to help scooters transfer into the street section, and it doesn’t look like much, of anything has been spent on maintenance. Entire Small street section was handily Coated with a layer of wax so slippy.

Had fun but I was with a couple of friends. Not sure it would have been much fun otherwise.

Yeah it's a bit sad really, not been anything like clean for quite some time they have removed the parts that people travelled a distance for, not worth me or the regular lot who used to travel there going any more, only handy if your either local & like what's left :( But their focus now seems to be the kiddie element as there is a soft play /trampoline type thing area coming soon as well.

I haven't been since before lockdown. There seems to be a lot of bladers going who are waxing everywhere. Last time I was riding the midi a group of blokes on blades waxed the coping just after my run. I moaned at them but they said its much better for me if its waxed!

The mini bolted to the end is the micro and spine combined.
Cash flow problems. They wanted to keep the skatepark open but had to sacrifice the bowl it seems.

Flipping bladders. At least scooters have an excuse as they’re generally little kids

I’m not surprised about the cash flow problems. It was massive so rent is no doubt high then there’s the seasonal aspect of an indoor park. Oh well, will probably return if it rains later in the week. I think I’ve found my balance now so might be time to start trying to do some stunts again

Saw Deeside being ripped apart at the start of the pandemic. Shame, but I guess it needed to be done fast.
