Feeling a bit calmer in the bowel department, thanks for asking  :?

As for Saturday, 11 am might be a more realistic start time for me. Will consult with Mrs and Jon and firm that up this week (that'll something else that's firmed up this week  )

Should be on for the usual Wednesday session in the bowl department (see what I did there :) )

How do,

Does this still happen on a Sunday afternoon and if so is it mainly people 30+ that go on a Sunday? I fancy a trip accross this Sunday, but I haven't skated vert or any ramp for about 18 years, so I'm scared (pussy I know) of looking like an old prick in front of people half my age. However i don't mind so much looking like a prick in front of people of a similar age.

Thanks

Gareth

You should be be scared. Have you seen that vert ramp at Blackpool? It's a monster @ 13' - stand on the top of that and you will shit yourself

I'd try something little more tame to start with if I were you

the irony in that for me is i managed to dislocate my shoulder on a 1.5ft mini. small ramps give me the creeps now.

i find vert much less scary - once you get over the height thing, which does wear off, eventually.

@Gareth - you should go for it, just get down there on a sunday and have a bash. If kids on scooters keep riding on the flat just tell woody or one of the staff and they can fence it off for you.

There's actually a lot of truth in that. Done it myself on small stuff.

Ha ha, I certainly would shit myself, as I have aged I think my balls have shrunk by the same amount my waistline has expanded! However I wasn't thinking about dropping in on the first session (or anytime in the near future), but the vert school idea apealed to me, a load of people within a similar age group looking to learn or relearn sounds like a good/dangerous/stupid laugh.

Since a few beers on saturday night got in the way of me doing much yesterday, I am going to go to Leeds on Wednesday night and start small as advised. Provided I don't break something I will look to get over to Blackpool on a Sunday in the New Year.
