Churchdown is being skating unoffically at the moment. (Not by me unfortunately) but when my knee is ready for the comeback how about this place. http://www.campus-skatepark.co.uk/index.php

Re: Peghill

Fairly consistent turn out at Corsham when we get our times agreed. Four of us again last night and 3 bmx'ers. It was part damp but we had a good 3 hour sesh none the less, with some goofing around at the end. A little more forward planning and we could have dried the damp patch and used the whole park. It did get a bit greasy at 8.00pm but of course was wet earlier. The council should be adjusting the lights early this week back to 9.30 8)

Lights have been adjusted until 9.00 although I have just been on to the council to let them know they are going off early. We normally roll up between 6.00 and 6.30 so most of the ankle biters have started to slope off.....

Heh Scoob. You are very lucky that the ankle biters slope off around 6.30 - lights stay on at Bobs until 10.45pm but the ankle biters don't seem to have homes to go to, not until at least 10.00pm anyway

Another potential comeback spot for my knee. And what's all this 'learning new tricks' business? forgotton most of mine already.

Went and had a look today, workmen wouldn't let me skate, but let me have a look around, supposedly open by the end of the week, 10 minutes from me, can't wait.

Been a bit skate-free lately, been learning to snowboard as i'm off on a mate's 40th in Bulgaria in the new year.

Re: Peghill

I'm going to Borovets in Bulgaria in march, done a session at the indoor snow at Hemel and a couple of sessions at the rather unforgiving Gloucester dry slope, think i've got the basics, wildly excited, another expensive hobby for my non-existent cash.

Also wildly excited about Churchdown, long over-due that there was some decent skating round here.

Re: Peghill

Good to hear from you Nick.

Churchdown does indeed look good, 30 miles from where I live but just off the M-way so a quick 25 min blast should see me there. Preferable to the 50 min slog that gets me to Norty.

Dropped in Wednesday to see how it was getting along - still crawling with builders so left the deck in the car but had a peek over the railings. It does look good.

Hope to see you there.

Have a good Christmas all, hopefully see yal's in the New year. :)

Feels pretty strong again thanks Tony, although not really had a chance to test it under skate conditions  Will see you for a gentle roll sometime and we'll see how strong it really is.

Thinking maybe of an indoor session at that Campus place sometime if Paul feels his knee is stong enough and Lee is about. Maybe drag And out too?

Looking into getting a sesh at Campus, but anywhere else if we can get dry spell. Wherever it is I have to take it very easy on my knee but got to get back in the saddle soon.

It certainly is. A day out or summat would be great it's normally school half term on my actual birthday but I'm sure we can move the celebratory skate session about to suit.
Had a great comeback session this morning with Lecky on the 'secret' Winterbourne mini. Still walking on the knee...Happy days
