Have fun bloody done my back in yesterday and nothing to do with skating so will have to wait to the weekend at least if it gets any easier. (

Thinking of taking time off when the kids go back to school and maybe make a couple of days of it say Hemel / Saffron Waldern and a few other places if the weather is ok . Not sure how long Andy has got left before he can skate again but will ring him tomorrow

Think he has given you my number if you ever want to pop down to Eaton Bray

Back is nearly there but not quite yet another couple of days i think...

Looking to use some leave time up from work and catch a few parks before the winter sets in and we have to go indoors so was thinking from the week 12th September ?

Anyway Sao Paulo is amazing. No skate Parks where I am but supposedly three by the coast. Mate from work taking me there on Wed (unexpected bank holiday whoohoo). Went to a park on Sat and the women here are so tasty...had worst whiplash in my life. Unfortunately (or furtunately for me) they speak little english so they did not understand when I asked if the take it up the shitter...

You would not believe the amount of skaters there were there...even women and girls skate. Probably more skateboards in the park than bicycles, 60% or them were longboards bombing the tarmac hills, pushing about the flat or doing slalom runs in the park. I guess its understandable as they say skateboarding is second most popular sport after football in Brazil.

Weather been 30DegC all weekend and not a cloud in the sky...been lucky as this is meant to be end of winter!!!

Anyone skating PB this week?

They were beyond a joke this morning, particularly given that we spent ages drying the park and then hardly got to skate it :evil:

I have no problem with the scooters using the park, but they really have to learn to look where they are going and be aware of others round them. Basic skate park etiquette !

As for the BMX kids wearing headphones, they are a total menace :evil:

Sounds like the scooter spoilt the weekend...sorry to hear it guys. Not sure what can be done about that with the UK's no gun policy!!!

Got back from Rio yesterday back to Sao Paulo and would you believe I founf the skatepark in Rio...unfotunately it was from the window of the cab to the airport

name is flamenco park skate park Rio and it is supposed to have marble coping...sounds like Brazil knows how to make a park. Check it out on google!

Anyway hope all is well next weekend with the weather and the gromms...

Scooters were a menace last weekend, but it was only really because it took us ages to dry the park and then by the time we started skating it was quite late. The sun had by then come out as well, so lots of kiddies decided to come out to play, spoiling it for the big kids :evil:
