Think the boys are planning to be there Thursday, not sure of my plans at the moment so don't know if it will be early or late for me! Lights are on til 9.35 now although its still getting damp if the dew point is reached on one side of the park.
I never won the skateboard kit on TisWas....... did you?

Looks ok for 2moro do you know whereabouts it is
FILTON BOWLRIDERZ
Re: Bristol Sk8er Thread
Tony I've never been there and Lecky no I'm not sure where it is. Surferscoob is our man on the inside so hopefully he can give us some more info. I'm guessing though we need to be there by 6:30 ish to avoid the dew settling later on.

Re: Bristol Sk8er Thread
Quite easy to find the park, take the A4 from Chippenham to Corsham at the McDonalds roundabout. Straight accross the traffic lights by the Cross Keys. Turn Left at the Hare and Hounds roundabout, then right at the mini roundabout. Take the first left, follow road until the tight left hander and turn right, go round to the back of the car park and skate park is a shiny beacon for weary skaters on the left
6.00 to 6.30 is probably best although some nights it can be okay right til lights out. Will try to get up for a quick early session but got to fly around 7.00

Re: Bristol Sk8er Thread
Just rained here too, might be a no goer. But it is looking ok for the rest of the day. How well does it dry off up there?

Re: Bristol Sk8er Thread
I think the rain is coming from my direction (Swindon) - sunny here now and starting to dry off. I usually rely on park reports from Scoob before I drive to Corsham. Might chance it tonight tho. I need another evening of failing to do anything significant on a stunt-plank
Re: Bristol Sk8er Thread
Surferscoob if you think it is going to be dry over there tonight can you let us know. Starting to dry off here in Yate.

Re: Bristol Sk8er Thread
I got a bash at Bath in with Rich and a dude called Mark, just the three of us, all good. I wouldn't mind doing Churchdown in the morning but I think it will be damp first thing, maybe the secret mini again? Anyone else?

I like this game... Winterbourne? I am assuming by the pic it is indoors.
Wonder if Corsham could be on this week? Wed?
Edit: done some internetting... is it Fromeside Youth Centre?
Edit..again..Yes Winterbourne http://www.facebook.com/pages/Fromeside ... 9441643075 Maybe we should be offering some help or support?
Have you seen some of the other designs? We should push them for this one

Probably under 25's only, but maybe we can offer some help/support in return for a bit of access time.
Dont look like an evening session is gonna be possible again tonight
due to the rain. Hopefully we will get out to Corsham at least once this winter.
Got to get something sorted with this campus place, come on Steve sort us out will ya.

Gents, willing to give some time to the indoor build if they need some help.
Timing isn't great - by Easter everyone will be outside
and not paying for an indoor.

I was working in Bath in the morning, and needed to give my daughter a lift home (she goes to City of Bath college) so it made sense, twas a good session, I think the 3 months off of bowl riding caused some kind of weird 'Bum Cramp' lol, but dont worry Tony I wont be mentioning it again

Never been there mate - thought you were talking about Hengrove for a minute. Found the pics below - looks a bit street plaza - bit pointless for me seeing as my ollie won't get me up a curb, let alone anything higher
Have you been down to Dame Em recently? I've heard they've re-done the bottom section since they removed the half pipe.

Looking good mate - a little stiff perhaps...you're normal flowing motion is looking a little stilted but pretty fucking impressive for someone who just recovered from surgery. Fucking typical - the bloke with only one good leg can still skate much better than me

I think there were rumblings from them about the birthday jam.
I'm hoping to make it up too.. must be a couple of things we can skate either side of it too.
New bit at Dame Em looks good. Filton.. I don't care really. Lots I haven't skated up there.
