How to do fakie footplants

An old trick but a fun one.
I re-learnt it recently, and here's the video.
It's good to get the front wheels up as well as the back ones. On a steep ramp, or high up, that's not a problem. But when you're first learning you'll be low down - so you need to have your palm open umder the tail and use the pressure on your four extended fingertip to straighten the board up and lift the front wheels.

Warwick, is that the new Bay 66 mini. What's it like? It's existence had completely passed me by until I saw your video.

Watched the video on the Bay Facebook page and it looks nice. How does it compare to the old mini in height etc.

It's very similar to the old mini - a real addition to the park, in my opinion. It has a low end and a higher end, I always warm up on the low end

Looks great, will have to take a trip there. Was considering one this evening but couldn't after work and skated Finsbury Park instead - getting dark before 9pm now, so I may plan an evening trip to Bay soon.

Much as I love the bowl there now, there was something about that old mini ramp...
