Fondling my new 149's I wondered how is the Kingpin fitted, is it a press fit, bonded or quoi?

They have small splines on them that bite into the soft aluminium.

Minor weight saving over the old style. Probably cheaper is the real reason. Or to kill Grind King? Seems to have worked

Press fitted, can be a bitch to change but can be done. Most moden trucks use the same method.

Not to worry I got some new 149's this Evening and they seemed to be 3 bags of cement more than
my 139's/ which turned out were lightweight lows.
