November pumped with high quality swell most days.

December though has been a complete non event (surfingwise). Yesterday was the first reasonable chance of getting in for me which I conspicuously failed to take.

Has it just been crap in North Devon or is this a more widespread phenomenon?

north wales coast has seen some ok waves...we take what we can!

Sunday could be the first dip of the year.

Fuckity,fuck,fuck and bother. I did not finish painting before the surf got blown out.

I went skating before dark though...and fell heavily on my arse.

Broke the drought and got in at tiny glassy Croyde today.

Now pleeeese.... lets get on with some winter surf.

I went in at East Witterings yesterday. My city slicker arse got tossed around like a toy boat. BH the time I finally paddled out and caught a wave it was time for a pint!

It's the longest spell of unrideable waves I've known!!! I can barely call my self a "surfer" when I haven't been in for weeks....bring back winter. It was dry and there were waves....

With the exception of March and a few days here and there the surf has been poor to appalling. What's happening?

7.5 ft at 15 sec tomorrow. I'm jumping off the rocks at my favourite point tomorrow morning 7.30am sharp for an early session before work. Brrr

The North East has been shit. Either dead flat or mushy as hell all the way through December/January.

Any day which could have been at least a bit decent for logging, you could pretty much guarantee that I would be stuck at work.

Sick of rubbish surf, rubbish snow and rubbish cold wet miserable weather...

couple of mate were heading down to sennen for the bank holiday weekend, reports were showing something like 8ft/13secs I'd be leaving my arse on the beach

Sennen would have had some size that's for sure.

Fab session at 1-1 1/2 foot Croyde.Best sess in ages. Funny how it all comes together sometimes in the least likely circumstances.
