Did you skate today?

Blatantly nicked from the OMA forum.
Post up if you skated and what happened. 8)
I usually forget and post the next day. Like this.
I skated yesterday, a good indoor session at Hawke on the minis.

Yes skated the Bath vert with Rich from Trowbridge. Ramp was really slow after all the rain (it tends to get mud washed down off the hill) and puddles kept appearing along the metal seams. Still didn't expect to get a roll so shouldn't complain. Hopefully will be better tonight :D

From the depths of my massive trick bag natch.

They were in the bottom corner next to BS Bert slides on flat bank but slightly obscured by BS/FS slash grinds and Axle stall to tail.

There's still quite a lot room in my trick bag.

I had a skate at Arnold Bowl (Notts) this morning. Was OK when it dried up but I was pretty pissed off when I got there - the local idiots had left so much rubbish there it just took the fucking michael. There was plastic bags in the bowl, crisp packets everywhere and a bin just next to the park too....what is wrong with these people? After I spent 15 mins picking up chav snack debris I had a good skate.

No :(

The exhaust fell off our car last night so I took it to my local Slow-fit-bodge-O who expertly informed me that the ehaust system they have listed for our car (a Ford Escort... rare... not) has been 'made wrong' and therefore can't be fitted to the car.

Unfortunately this was AFTER the highly skilled Technician had removed what was left of our exisisting system leaving us not only with no exhaust system but also no 'kin car for a while 'until the right type is found'....

Get your bloody ironing talk off moi thread!
(edit - DTB asked for it to be moved as it was 'significant'. 8)

p.s. what I really mean is I don't think that people should post when they DON'T skate. I wanted this thread to be nice and positive and to encourage everyone else to get out and skate more.
We know it rains, we know some are injured, we know no-one can realistically skate every day, so let's try to keep it cheerful. ;)

I skated with Dr.Martin Ellis today at the Angmering crèche bowl.

We had a great time slaggin' off Dave the bass with verbal voodoo

Eventually we got rained off so went to the pub and talked about bowls, pools, concrete and coping, like real skating men do! hoorah!!.
They didn't appreciating our board slapping in the bar !!

Although skating was stopped by rain, we left still feeling positive and cheerful and would like to encourage others to get out and do the same

As he has reported, I skated with Mr Jelly,

That Angmering bowl is nice, the loveseat is just the right size for me.

The local scrotes did their best to spoil our day, but we are made of tuff stuff.

Didn't get any new tricks but did get a few long bs50-50s (nice coping).

Jelly got some of them there dubcarves he likes so much.

Hope to visit Verwood tomorrow (bit off thread I know - sorry)

We had a great time slaggin' off Dave the bass with verbal voodoo

Eventually we got rained off so went to the pub and talked about bowls, pools, concrete and coping, like real skating men do! hoorah!!.
They didn't appreciating our board slapping in the bar !!

Although skating was stopped by rain, we left still feeling positive and cheerful and would like to encourage others to get out and do the same

i think DTB was doing a rain dance ... or is it just karma that you were slagging off the hippy bastard?
if it is worth doing ... it is worth over doing
