My 4ft / 3ft x 15ft mini
The only thing that I didn't enjoy was the posers that seemed to have a snotty comment everytime I dropped in to the ramp. I think i saw 2 of them actually skate the ramp and then it was only to get to the other side in the hour that I was there, the rest of the time, they were playing PSP's on the chairs up top.
Came home all fired up and decided that I really want my own ramp. I had it in my mind for a while that I wanted to do it, but really wanted to hit a park and see if I could still skate.

This is the spot where it's going, We were going to build a second garage back there, but since I sold my campervan, there is no need for that anymore, this did pose a few problems though, veggy garden is in the way, washing line is in the way...........the whole sodding lot is in the way. Only one thing to do.

Phase 1, move everything. We have a huge garden, but I made a promise to the missus that if I build one, it's going to be behind the garage, and when done will be covered by shade netting so that it's not an eye sore. I'm going to build a car port over anyway, that'll allow for all weather skating.
Phase 2. Lengthen the concrete base to a full 8m/ 26ft so that it's a decent size. 3.5m/ 11.5ft wide and 1.2m/3.9 tall. 1.8m/6ft transitions. Should make for some nice skating. I'm here at the moment as the foundation has been cut for the base and now I just need some fill in order to fill up the 30 odd cm gap.
Phase 3. Build it. I have everything already ordered and it'll be dropped off at my house this weekend, I'm looking at a weekend max to have this built as my supplier is cutting all the huge stuff to size. To simplfy things for me.
Total cost to me is about R6000/ £400.
Stay tuned as this is going to be a kind of a step by step deal.
...............telling your parents you're gay.
