So is there going to a MOTHS resurgence?

Postby Overseer » Mon Jul 27, 2009 2:28 pm

So Taunton finally gets it bowl early next year.. How many of the MOTHS will be breaking out of their cocoons to skate the bowl?

It'd be good if there were even semi-regular MOTHS sessions

I assume Edgie and Guy will for sure are any others still active?

I used to skate with Edgie and Guy on a thursday at Dreamfields, I'm tempted to dust off the board and give it a go.

current estimations are that the build will start directly after the xmas period in january with the finish date (weather permitting) being sometime around march.

currently have 133k, but we have a meeting later today that might help bring it up to 183k *fingers crossed*

the tender invitations go out in about a week or two, the design selection takes place late sept, a little time for tweaking (expansion if the extra 50k comes through) and getting the planning through (if necessary, which it may well be..)

have had lengthy meetings with freestyle, gravity and maverick in the last week, just wheelscape to go!

'on his way home from Shoreham' classic. I guess that means most weekends then.

If there's a regular session emerging, weekend preferred, I'd be up for it. 8)

yup most weekends! :)

not sure about a regular thing, but i reckon a bowl jam should go down at some point.

i also met surfingkiwi at wooden waves the other day.. he said something about a filton bowl crew.. our bowl is what we consider to be a greatly improved filton (as thats exactly what we asked for..) so.. they should love it!
