As bizarre as it sounds I believe it's a lot easier bailing on big stuff, time to run out and get onto your knees and shit. However getting your head around that is an arse at the best of times.

yes, i did it last time i was at RC, the coping is huge compared to corby!

just started learning to skate vert in the last 6 weeks or so and enjoying it so far (apart from a black hip and manky elbow lol). its like learning everything all over again, but i kinda enjoy that bit, its keeping the tricks that i struggle with.

thing is with the 13ft fall logic - i was skating a 2ft micro mini and dislocated my shoulder quite badly

so i like the fact that ive got a second or so to deal with my blunder.

i feel a lot calmer about skating vert than i do any mini ramp, an odd philosophy i suppose, but one that suits me at the moment.

Couldn't agree with you more, I'm scared of heights so when dropping vert I always have that to contend with. When I put my board over the coping at RC I very nearly walked away with my tail between my legs, glad I didn't though cos it would have beaten me then.

The rush you get is second to none without a doubt.
