The new 'what are you listening to at the moment' thread

The old 'what are you listening to at the moment' thread is now lost in the mists of time (page 8 or 9) so I thought I'd start a new one.
My favourite band of all time, Martha & the Muffins (AKA Martha Johnson & Mark Gane) are releasing their first new album for some 15 years in February, and they've stuck this on the net for their fans. Good song but the video's been filmed in their living room by the looks of it! Mind you, they are broke so why not! :D

Chris K - a man basking in his own awesomeness but considering basking in his own epicness and now literally a legend.

Currently working my way through Slades back catalogue.
Today it was 'Slade In Flame' the soundtrack to their 1975 film.

The new 'what are you listening to at the moment' thread...

Currently listening to DIY 2 x 6ft tall Saburo's single driver FR speakers being fed from a DIY choke loaded 6DN7 SET amp using the Barker/Kaufman cct. That's being driven by a 5670 unity gain buffer which is in turn fed from a shunt wired Alp's Blue pot (50K+47K shunt resistor) via a WD passive selector, CD selected at present but a lot of vinyl today too.

'Church with One Bell' by John Martyn. His 'covers' album, superb.

(Nicely recorded).

Killing Joke at the moment. Kings and Queens is getting some unfair airtime. I run a small drag racing forum and it has a juke box attached to it. The members choose the music and then can of course play it. Here is a link if you want to listen its pretty straightforward... http://www.thesandslounge.com/rave/myWimpy.html

Carl Id like to put up some of your band mate. Any chance???

One of my favourite bands. Been replaying 'Hossanahs From the Basements of Hell' again recently. Was gutted earlier in the year when I realised they were playing at the Blackpool Punk fest on the day of the fucking gig! Hoping they play a decent set of gigs in the New Year when the next album comes out. Will be interesting to hear what the original line-up comes up with now.
