Bowl list - it's about the 3D

Right, this year I am going to 'try' and visit a few outdoor crete parks.. starting in a month or so when the shite weather turns.

Anyway I have come to the point after 48 years that I now don't give a flying fuck about miniramps, rails, vert, etc ... It's all about the bowls baby.

I fancy making a bowl list and ticking em off over this year as there seem to be may great crete parks up and down the country.

Any chance of adding to my list?

Rules

1. Crete
2. Outdoor
3. There is no 3

So far number 1 on the list is Hereford

How about it? ... A bit like that 'munrow bagging' thingy .... see how many you can tick off this year????

I cannae wait for Renfrew, it looks so sweet in the plans.

Dont forget the new Edinburgh combi-bowl as well. Went past the site this morning and they have started spraying the trannies on the main part of the park and they appear to be making really good progress after the two week delay because of the damn snow. . Not started digging the main bowl out yet though cos it seems to be where they are parking all their vans at the moment.

Oh aye, Edinburgh. That looks well Rad. Can't wait for that either. Renfrew is running late as well, I'm hoping to get down again soon for another look. Word is that they are ready to spray the transitions. They are behind but the work force will be doubled up to try and claw some time back. Also, when down last week I could see that quite a lot of the street section looked finished. ..- ..- ..-

Lookin good.

Progress on Edinburgh can be seen here http://www.skateboardscotland.com/news/2009/12/16/213323.html

Speaking of bowls, do any of the Notts crew know if Southglade has been repaired yet? Sun is shining at the moment and I'm thinking of heading down for a bit.....

This is strictly a car deal ... (and I'm not insured for pillions on the Lambo - My Mrs refused to go on the back ever again after a little incident in 1985 involving my second Lambo and a BMW  .... plus she said she would cut off my nads if I ever took the kids on it ..... Soooo - pillion not a requirement ..... you will have to wait till I get the Harley  )

My thoughts are to pick a spot and do a dawn raid kinda thing.... once every couple of weeks or so.

Southglade - I spoke to Maverick last year they said "we are on it"

They said it was 15 wheeliebins that were set on fire

yea, if i can make it, then count me in.

the bowl takes a few days to dry out in these temperatures, but its not that far from my house so i dont mind nipping down after work and checking the 'dry out' progress mid week if need be.

Des, we need to think about flying to skateparks! Manston airport/flybe have started running flights to Manchester and Edinburgh, from £50 return depending on dates/time.

Joolz wrote:Right, this year I am going to 'try' and visit a few outdoor crete parks.. starting in a month or so when the shite weather turns.

Actually --- might make a good Facebook group?

So how many you ticked off then Joolz ??
