Anyone remember this ? seem to remember Rob Dukes won, or at least gave Mac a close run.

theres various little snippets in here and at 1.24 theres the infamous sticker toss :P
i'm sure theres film of the whole comp floating on youtube somewhere,just bloody hard to find :?
anyways "ollie the gap" is a brilliant,if sketchy film its worth watching the whole thing just to see how RAD skating was back then :lol:
oh yeah theres a few massers on it as well 8)

That video is not the first comp. I have the first one on video shot by mark h evans .
As it says at kennington banks. It was with Justin ashby , doug cameron and roger harvey etc

^^ Should be possible. You may have to pay someone to convert it to digital (DVD/avi) though.
Not a bad idea though, to archive this great stuff. I'll chip in. Sure many on here would. ;)

It belongs to Mark H Evans not me. i still have a video player.
If i wanted to keep up to date all my favourite archives i would be transfering for a month.

this has got me thinking about the amount of old skate footage people must stashed away on vhs in old boxes in their attics etc.
has anyone seen "rolling through the decades" ? basically its supposed to be a history of british skating through the 70s,80s,90s,but in reality its mostly about the scene in and around london,very biased,it gives the impression that this was all that was happening.whereas there was a thousand different scenes all going on all over the country.
back to the stashed videos-its just an idea,but i reckon a more realistic picture of british skating over the last 3 decades could be made,if say everyone on this site(if you've got any old film)or any old exskaters put their favourite piece of old footage onto disc/digital format and this was all put together in one film.as we're spread out all over the country this would give a great overview of the true(and not just london and the southbank)history of british skating from the vast majority who were there then and doing it.
just an idea...
