Also the park was full of broken glass and cans and other general rubbish...shame.
There was also a young kid on a BMX who had faceplanted the large extension on the halfpipe and smashed his mouth in and split his lip - blood was pouring everywhere.
A bloke took him off to find help and eventually an ambulance was called.
He wasn't wearing a helmet or pads.
This is the third day in a row that there has been an ambulance called to the park...

The ramps and bowl have now got some lovely skate stickers decorating them along with traces of claret on nearly ever ramp.....!
Par for the course for a new build park really. Seen it nearly every time. With luck (usually) the local chavs/troublemakers will get bored and move on to somewhere else and local kids will get the hang of it or others will start encouraging them to protect themselves or be more careful. It generally works itself out after a while.
Reports from Andy sound amazing and I respect his judgement. Another one on my list of "parks I really want to skate but will probably just keep talking about it."
