Game of SKATE: Street Standings

Ok chaps, here is where I will post up the current standings after each round of the Street S.K.A.T.E competition. We will take the round being open until midnight of the end date, I will then stick the standings up sometime after that.

If we can try and NOT post comments in this thread and just leave it for the results that would be fantastic (and prob won't happen) but hey no harm in asking.

Actually excessive posting in here will lead to a penalty letter

Round Two - Trevspin

Standings after round 2, just to clarify if you entered round 1 and not round 2 then you get a letter for this round; and if you entered this round but not round 1 then you get a letter for round 1....... I think :?

Stickied and tidied up. Great job on the results Jase. Will do something similar for Transition SKATE. ;)

Re: Game of SKATE: Street Standings

To be honest it's not worth keeping score as the last couple of rounds would only have a couple of people in anyway and everyone would get bored.

Best to keep it going (with no repeated tricks) and if people want to contribute they can, if they can't do a trick or don't have time they can still contribute to other trick posts. Still keep the format it is now but without the score.

I've quite enjoyed watching other people's contributions to this and the tranny one and it's made me try stuff I wouldn't normally even think of doing so it's got me out of a rut as I always skate on my own.

I agree to a point, i think the game element keeps it motivated, that little bit of preasure and a deadline "make" you do it

Re: Game of SKATE: Street Standings

If I don't post an attempt at Alf's 43 (which I won't  ) then I'm sure I'm on S-K-A-T-E - do I get a prize ?

In all seriousness though been enjoying all of these vids / entries and don't really give a toss about the scores. One day I might post the TrevSpin, the 180 ollie, 43 - no rush. Might even join the transition game one day. Keep them coming though, they're all great. Looking forward to the manual entries

gotta agree with ash, here. the largely unfamiliar tricks under deadline have pushed me to try (and occasionally make) some new things, which i'm pretty stoked about.

if it's just a matter of updating the chart, i'd be happy to take that on.

Re: Game of SKATE: Street Standings

We seem to have reached a natural break in the flatland game, however what is the interest in another round?

it is my turn and I have learned something new in the last few days - if I can learn something in a few days then it is definately in the achievable category. In contrast it took me 2 years of on and off trying to learn the nose manual  I think we do need to be looking at a turnaround faster than one round every two years so I reckon that what I now have up my sleeve is better for this game.
