Is it easy enough to find churchdown? I work up that way so might have to get a lunchtime practice in!

Re: Bristol Sk8er Thread

Yep Phil easy enough to find and you can park right next to the park. Trev dont know if you have been to Porthcawl yet but the deep bowl is very similar to that one. Just not so easy as Porthcawl to get lines into the bowl.

Evs - wet in thornbury :(

Good to see you posting up, will be doing more this year now the house is livable so keep am eye open.

Campus was good although compact, mini half pipe, flat ramp, 7ft ramp and a quater fun box. Good because it is indoor and hence a definate. One of the quieter nights there would be good.

Long absence due to ligament and knee injury from last year - old age: when you get injured it just takes ages to heal.
Mountain trek was postponed and is now in September ... as long as I don't get ligament and knee injuries!
Anyway, good to hear from you chaps, hope you're ok and maybe even skating?

Stamper, Lecky and Me have decided to make an early start and head down to Midsommer. Probably gonna aim to get there 8:30ish.
Worth the drive if you fancy it. If you do go to Yate you can park on the road (Peghill) right next to the park.

Yep we did have a good session 8:30 to about 11:45, but I had more injuries than I think I have ever got in one session before, nothing life threatening but I am suffering now. Did seem to get the backside 50-50 to fakie nailed though. And props to Lecky who nailed a backside 5-0 to fakie (someone tell me the name for em)

Ye gods............
Actually managed a skate yesterday. Arrived at Peghill 07:00, swept up and in the bowls by 07:15 :)

Just sooo good to get back on the board, nothing adventurous - just a catch up on old moves. ..- ..-

Last minute decision to skate and hence the lack of post

Fingers crossed for more sessions at Peghill.

Nice gentle roll around for an hour or so before the ankle biters arrived in numbers.

Weather looks promising for tomorrow. May even be a danger of a double skate weekend.
