broken ribs

think i've broken a rib/ribs today on a simple roll in over coping done the thing hundreds of time before this time just stopped dead think i was weighting my back foot too much for an axle stall on the opposite wall :( wonder how long the recovery is going to be ?

OUCH - ribs can take a while not a lot you can do apart from let time take its course!

Hope they mend sooner than later!

Harsh...

was about 6-7 weeks when I did mine

get some slip on shoes...tying your laces is going to bring you to tears

:% :( : Ouch, much sympathy, I've been there twice and there's not a lot you can do. At least the constant pain will act as a reminder not to overdo it until things heal up a bit :wink: And like Monkeyfinger said, try and avoid sneezing......

If I may be bold and give some advice (!) I'd say don't go skating until it's totally healed. When I bust my ribs I got "cabin fever" and went skating again when they weren't fully healed. Had a very minor bail and bust the little fuckers again :shock:

took mine about 2 months to heal but i could still feel them ache a bit for months

yay hospital says not broken just badly bruised shorter recovery time bad news it'll get worse before it feels better hurts like a mother trucker at the mo no sleeps can't cough might be able to get on the bike in a week or so
