Lengthening wheelbase

I have an 8.5 board with a 14.25 wheelbase that I want to redrill and make it 14.75 (maybe 15). There seems to be enough room to do this but should I move both trucks equally or just the back truck half inch?
I was sceptical that an inch wheelbase size would make no difference but I have since realised differently.

is it a double kick? if so i'd do both equally just to keep consistency in the pop.

I did this with mine. The original wheelbase was 14.5" and I moved the front truck holes forward as far as I dare before the nose turns up (the front edge of the base plate actually has a gap under it because the front truck holes are set back from the edge). It ended up being just over half an inch extra at the front and I moved the back truck holes just under half an inch back. I ended up with a 15.5" wheelbase.

You're right, that extra inch makes all the difference.
