How to do anything with your board and wheels eg. Cleaning bearings, changing trucks

Truck Hardware sizes ?

Just trying to work out what size axle nuts & speed washers. are they M5 or M4 on the hardware sites?

Axle nuts 5/16"-24tpi UNF

Speed washers 1mm thick. Internal diameter is 0.314" (clearance fit for a 5/16" axle) Outside diameter is 0.440" (just larger than the o.d. of the inner race of a 608 bearing)

Mounting hardware 10-32 UNF, nearest equivalent metric size is M5

Great info Alec, I don't suppose you have the same info for a standard kingpin do you?

This is good info, easy to get caught out. What size for kingpin flat bottom washer?

3/8", same as the kingpin or you can use m10 but it's not an exact fit. About 0.5mm difference so pretty insignificant.
