Gutted.... Not gonna make it tonight. Loaded up the car and was gonna get there nice and early as got a bit of mojo back after a good long skate at Adrenaline Alley the other day.
Then I get a call at 4pm from one of my 'naughty girls', just got in from the local police station....... I don't get paid enough to miss skating!!!!! :-(

Sorry bazza but it was a top evening. Quiet and good vibe. Very sociable. Nice to see mark after such a long time. Good to meet new boy Steve and brim was in the zone. Lots familiar faces there and all pleasant and encouraging.. Even the beer and bbq were good... Looking forward to getting back there. Luvin the mini and the bowl.. And didn't slam.. :-)

Aaaaahhh that was a great night

I was a bit worried after seeing the refurb work going on when we got there but it turned out to be ok. Not a huge turnout which meant i got some quality time in on both the bowl AND miniramp again

I had full pads & lid on most of the time and it definitely made a difference to my confidence, i seemed to be bombing it round the bowl faster than ever before after seeing that kid attempting head-high airs out of the deep end and trying to copy his line

i need a few more nights like that to get some real momentum to my bowl progress, found the line to get onto the coping at the kink in the middle but didnt quite manage it enough to get comfortable with it

bring on the next one, should be some new terrain to skate by then i presume??

Hoping to make it along just the missus is flying to Poland on Sunday with work and I'm already out tonight and Wednesday.

Plus she already knows I'm skating all day and evening Sunday in her absence!

Another miss for me I am afraid, life and work keeps getting in the way and always seems to fuck me up on Bay night!
Had an hours session at lunchtime today though at Harold Hill (perks of working a 30 second roll from the park) and been doing a lot of cruising and longboarding lately. Let's hope the weather holds, work dies down and I can see you all next month.
Busta you have probably doubled the collection since the last time I saw you, a ride on that Alva would be nice :-)

Actually I don't think we've met up since we slept together in Blackpool - oooh errrr missus! :-)

The Alva's a little wobbly Bazz, cos I still haven't stuck the new rubbers in the front
Gullwings yet but I will do before the next Bay.
My New bessie Mate in LA (a certain Mister Alva) sent me a new (Old) bit of grip for
it last week so I'm wrestling with peeling it back (fnnnar fnnar) and making the
top look like new too or leaving it as is and gazing at a piece of 40 year old
die cut grip tape for the next 50 years......
