MAS Merchandise????

Does anyone know if you can still buy MAS merchandise, hoodies, T-shirts etc etc through the link to spreadshirt on here? Nothing appears to have been updated for a couple of years so don't want to throw my hard earned wonga into the Twilight Zone?

Hello sorry yes not on here as much these days! Yes, anything that is listed on the Spreadshirt site is still available, and if you need something specific just PM me and I can usually get it listed in a few hours as long as I'm not at work or skating!
The clothes are made up by Spreadshirt, we just load our designs on, choose the layout and items available and they do the rest. Some of the items no longer exist due to them changing some of the items of clothing they listed. They take around a week to turn up. MAS gets a small cut of each item although to be honest its not often we get a payment as it has to reach £30 first! I've not really done much with it for a while as we dont get many sales and it got so big for a while with choice that to tidy it up now would be a bit of a job!

I used shirtinator recently to make some custom t-shirts, and I have the requisite abilities, but I have to say I'm not a fan of the orange baby logo at all... what kind of thing would you want on a shirt if you could choose from anything? What do they have on the over 50's site?

I have to agree with not being a fan of the baby logo.

A little sticker on my board is ok, but i'll pass on a tee.

I had one of these off of spreadshirt 'moons ago' (green tee / red logo) and was gutted when i wanted another but it had been pulled by The Man.

Infact, until tonight i'd not been able to find a pic but it's been here under my nose the whole time.

I have a roll of heat press vinyl, a DIY grade cutter and a spare Fruit of The Loom that might have a found a purpose..
(Provided DIY is still OK by the powers that be..)

that's much more up my street.

give us a nice high-res flat photo of it and I could re-make & put it up on shirtinator I should think. (as long as that's alright with the original designer!) but then I guess it's a vans rip off anyway so no-one could really claim copyright on that, right? :shock:

In fact I reckon I could re-make that without a high res source photo. I'll give it a whirl tomorrow.

Orange with black logo on green shirt

You can change the shirt colour easily enough, lots of other colours there. They both have a much smaller version of the black and white logo on the upper back, but if you don't want that you can just remove it using their editor before ordering your shirt.

Seeing as people are creating items elsewhere is everyone ok if I shut down the spreadshirt shop. I've not updated it for a long time and the sales are only once or twice a year now. There clothing isnt as flexible as it once was and their pricing is quite high.
If I hear nothing in the next few days I'll close it down. We havent had any payments of royalties for ages and are a long way from getting any more. (they only pay out every £30 made and we have to sell about 30 items to raise that much!. Please PM me if there is any objections.

This Guy Dave Miller (Brother of Wayne of Division 24 skate shop, http://www.division24.co.uk/) does a lot of the shirts, T's, L/S, baseball style & stickers for the various Facebook skate groups @ £10.99 delivered for a shirt, might be worth getting him to commission some new one's for MAS, he produces them on demand & is a sound bloke, he used to run the Little Mountain snowboard shop in Xscape Castleford until last year, now does this stuff full time?

I loved the designs but can't stomach the prices.

I've had tee shirts made for several bands I've been in as well as supplying them to other folk. Granted I haven't done it for a while but I used to pay about £3 a shirt for a Gildan (I.e good strong brand) and selling at a tenner was a pretty decent profit.

I've just seen that one of the suppliers I used is still in rude health.

So it wouldn't be much more bother to get some proper MAS shirts / hoodies done and cut out the costly print-on-demand suppliers.

For my zine I used to take orders in advance so people could choose the colour and size they wanted and I'd order only the shirts and hoodies I needed. Zero risk, zero waste.

Sadly I'd struggle to find the time to be the co-ordinator but I'd gladly help out.

Ive shut the spreadshirt shop as Dave Miller will be a much better option. Ive had some of his tee's and stickers and the quality is fantastic.

Dave Miller who does the shirts says he's tried three times to register here, no conformation mails, do we have a forum problem currently or is it operator error, apparently three people have failed to register on that thread, he's currently doing some shirts the Facebook site, I did want him doing them on here but not worked out so far

Maybe it's a simple case of not seeing / reading Woody's thread explaining how not to get your account deleted before it even gets started?

Why not PM Wierdo see if he can take a look at it on the server?
