@undertime you just keep killing it! @Mark_81 rad nose slide! @Jory you got some great stuff on that curb! No video but I finally figured out how to slappy crooked. First one I tried I got into and wasn't expecting to or much less grind a few feet. Ended on my ass on that one. Landed only one before it got to dark. No video but I do have a witness.

Not much since Haven filmed much of anything. Still working on getting slappy crookeds more than 1 in 30 or so, learned back slappy to push(on top of the curb), fakie 180 powerslide push, and shove it to shifty.

Ummm, they’re not as hard as they look and pretty low impact to try. Some tips...

-Learn flatground fs180 one’s first

Turn your shoulders less than on flatground

Stay mostly in the ramp

- you hardly pop them, you’Re almost sliding the wheels into place

You guys need to start posting something or I'll just start flood posting my crap! I know it sucks to film and people aren't going to parks but no need to not skate. Make your own spot. Carpet skate. Roll on the street and do flat or hit a curb or curb cut. Parks aren't necessary to skate. Break free of the stagnant prison camps that are public skateparks!

Nice work on the boardslides.
I am skating a lot on a car park near my house. Working on learning a lot of flatland tricks that I have never really bothered with cos I usually just carve round in bowls. I could post up videos but it still looks a bit shit. When I have a few tricks in the bag I will do.

No it's OK really, I think since I've been skating less the injuries seem to take more of a toll. I don't think it's broken but swelled right up so I'm on the old co-codamol now, more as a passtime than for any real benefit.

Justin anytime on board is better than not as you know. Skated nothing new or exciting still need to move the curb out by the pool so I can get more than 1 push. Cant get a slappy on it going that slow. Just enjoying the boardslides for now.

As you may know, all of us in the UK are super jealous of having indoor space to build curbs and such, that's like a dream scenario tbh, I don't know why our land is so overpriced. Still, I respect the effort going into making forms and ramps, I know these things don't magically appear.

Hey man! Just working on getting my rolling ollies down. Never been any good but actually working on it now and making progress. I'll link a short video I took, albeit embarrassing haha. Thing is, this is the best I've ever gotten besides just rolling around.

I skated saturday and sunday. Flatground with a slight slope which I pretend is a hill. Haha. Skating the new enormous board is a serious leg workout. I just cruise around doing carves, powerslides, and ollies. Today is monday, and my leg muscles have ache deep in their cores. I hope this means I will get a bit stronger. The past year has not been a good one for my fitness.

Back on the board! Skated yesterday for the first time in 5 weeks. No injuries this time, rusty but feeling good!
Did some pop shove-it for shuvitcancer day as I missed it (if I remember correctly I was actually physically able to skate on 10th July but it rained like crazy up north)
Got my first 50/50 noliie shuv out and nearly landed crooked tre shuv out - both on the round rail. I was pretty happy with that, considering I had been away from it for a good while! Oh and I tried to fside shuv over the rail, to keep the game running in the other section... It's not happening, going to have to review my expectations! :lol:

I think it'll have to over a board or something pretty small to start with! The pop is there, the timing is not, I just don't get it at all. Probably need some decent speed. Scary scary!!! :lol:

Thanks buddy! Back on it for sure! And yes, it was the ribs, inspired by a few ollies over a rail in normal stance I thought I would be able to ollie over it switch. Never ollied over anything switch before. You can guess what happened! Made a good vid though :lol:

I am skating twice a week these days. Just flatground cruising usually. Ollies, powerslides, burts, carving etc. Today my girl picked me up from the bus station of her home city on her mom's e-bike. Basically a 50cc style scooter with an electric motor. So I skitched along behind her for about 5 km back to her place. The new tankboard I am riding is great for that. I am using 66mm orangatang wheels on it now. They go over everything. Good job. My spitfires would have killed me trying that.

I was up in the mountains outside of Ningbo, China doing some downhill yesterday. I was fully padded and slow as hell, keeping my speed down so I wouldn't crash and die. It was scary and fun.

Well, after avoiding the plague for a number of months I skated Micklefield on Monday & Thursday, just to confirm I'm just as shit as I was so little loss there then!! :wink:

I went Monday thinking all the kids were back in School, turned up early the park was empty, got my gear on, five scooter kids with grandparents turned up, then five walkers rocked up to have their tea & sandwiches, over the next hour around another 20+ kids turned up, them another around 20 - 25 walkers turned up, it was like a bleeding bank Holiday, so I decided to leg it at this point after around an hours riding, but to be fair I was done by then.

Went Thursday sneaked out of chores for an hour, arrived at 9:59 am I'm on my own, only the odd local dog walker for a full hour of waddle & grind around the park ~..

, then one by one of three other skaters started turning up

, four scooter kids rocked up had a couple of runs then sat around & disappeared came back with energy drink & fags, sat around had a couple more goes then went again, so just skaters once more, after 2 1/4 hours obviously my hour was up by then :wink:

& I was knackered with legs gone!

Are you recovering from an injury Brian?,my park opens at 7.00am and you can get a good 1-2 hours before it starts getting busy.

Turned my ankle a week or two ago doing other shit, but seems to be less twingy than it was, I have permanent injuries & conditions that I just have to manage as well.

Plan9 - I'm still lurking but scaled back on the posting as there wasn't really anyone else doing it (was very conscious about the me, me, me aspect too). Would love to see more life here if possible.

But, unfortunately, it won't be from me for a while. Broke my ankle and broke and dislocated a big toe on a bank at the end of August. I had planned to be back on a board in October, but when I saw the physio for the first time last week he basically said "no chance you daft old smelly crippled bastard" (or words to that effect).

Realistically it'll be the end of November before I can step on a board again and from there (probably) a bit of a slog to get mobility, strength and balance back.

I am missing it like you would not fucking believe.

Anyway, I second Plan9's call to arms - be good to see/hear of exploits of any kind.

This site still has a very special place in my heart. Cheers all.

Great stuff doowyrag. Are they Ventures i see? How you finding them. I'm riding a pair of v-lights and think they are great, although they didn't work with my last deck. I'm blaming the deck. Glad it's gone.
Undertime, sounds bad. I hope you get back together ok.
I was skating Friday twice, Saturday, Sunday, and Tuesday twice. Weather means I may miss skating tomorrow, and looks like Friday morn may be taken up with family stuff. Friday afternoon might be mynext skate which seems ages away.
