I am 41 but I stopped posting because my back kept getting hurt so i stopped skating, but now my wife wants to start so I had to take her to the park a few times and rather than just stand around giving useless advice I got the old board out again and some new £5 bearings. I am still at exactly the same level I was 2 years ago, maybe even slightly better.

This is the only place where I am the youngest. 39. and a half!! Hahaha.
Actually I was skating with a 60 year old Chinese guy today. I was stoked. He is riding the carver board thing and having a great time. He rides with his daughter, who is about my age. Inspiring.

I turned 58 in May but sad to say I’ve not been on board since then. I’m determined to get on board at least some time each year. I want to be able to say I was skating into my 60s.

Managed to longboard during lockdown ( 1st one ) and finally got one of my sons in to skating . Just feels good to be on a board no matter what you're doing .

Yes Alec = BigAlec offa Insta.

I'm 54 now. Not rolled this year but retirement beckons so I'm planning to be at it again next year, Covid allowing anyhow.

Are still rolling on rons bearings? I have his standards and they were very good, although i didn't like the fact that they came from nmb thailand, they skate great.

And i'm 44 for another 5 days. I feel young here!
