Looking at the board

Ok as the title says - I know a bit of a weird topic! I was having a session this morning just doing basic stuff & found when looking at my board whilst performing an Ollie made a huge difference in overall standard of Ollie ( smoother / higher / style points. ) so I guess I initially look at foot placement then look at obstacle & then at point of pop I look at my board / feet whilst performing trick.

Does this sound pretty typical or am I a little strange? Usually just focus on obstacle & rely on muscle memory.

I kinda like this new way, I’m gonna run with it for a while.

Cheers
